A unique and architectural aloe well suited to containers. Forms fans of bluish, strappy leaves with reddish tips on a solid trunk that divides after flowering. Orange tubular flowers are produced in summer.

Easy to care for and prefers a bright warm spot with some direct sunlight.

Intolerant of wet feet, very well-drained soil is crucial. Sandy soils are best. Before planting cultivate soil to a depth of 20cm and mix in compost and a complete garden fertiliser. Use Oderings Potting & Basket Mix for containers.
