Prolific producer of large, thin skinned, sweet and juicy fruit from an early age. Most widely grown and most frost hardy lemon hybrid. Sweetly fragrant flowers. Great in pots. Once tree is established, it can fruit all year round. Meyer lemons are thought to be a lemon crossed with either a mandarin or orange, so is a sweeter type of fruit, with a lemon-like appearance and flavour. 

Plant in deeply-worked, free-draining but moisture retaining soil. Water well when planting then regularly for two to three weeks. An annual citrus fertiliser and frequent watering will reward you with bounteous fruit.
