A large tufted plant with narrow flax-like, slightly drooping leaves. Attractive white 3-5cm flowers with olive or bronze keel, carried on lightly branched stems in early summer, followed in autumn by decorative golden-brown seed capsules. This shrub is naturally found in damp or mossy places. Very hardy and enjoys full or partial sun.
