This is the hardiest palm for New Zealand and is not only suitable for your yard but for coastal areas. It also tolerates wind and has the bonus attribute of being tolerant to frost and snow. This palm features lush, dark green, fan-shaped leaves. Suitable in pots for up to 5 years; however, in 10 years, it can reach 8m tall. Ideal for both North and South Island.
