The Ctenanthe Compressa is a stunning, clump forming plant. It grows large, slender, bright green leaves with textured indents. Grows well as an indoor plant.  Old foliage can be cut off at ground level to encourage more growth. Can be planted in sheltered outdoor gardens.

Habitat: Leaves grow in fan-like clusters and may reach up to 120cm tall

Light: Thrives best in bright, indirect light.

Water: Water twice a week, keep the soil moist but never allow your plant to sit in water

Humidity: High, mist plant 3 times a week to minimise brown leaf tips.

Soil: Re-pot into Oderings houseplant potting mix

Fertiliser: Use a a half-diluted liquid fertiliser every two weeks during the active growth period (spring and summer).

Flower Color: Non Flowering

Pests: Aphids are most common and can be found on new growth

Poisonous for pets: Non-toxic to pets and humans
