The beautiful blue star fern has soft, blue-green fronds which grow up and gently cascade over the edge of the pot. An easy care plant making it an ideal choice for a first houseplant. Has the dded bonus of being an excellent air purifier.

Habitat: Will grow to a mature size of 1m tall. 

Light: Likes bright indirect light but can tolerate lower light levels.

Water: Likes soil to be kept moist, allow top soil to dry just slightly in between watering. Water around the inside of the pot as it doesn’t like water being poured directly into its centre.

Humidity: High, mist plant 3 times a week to minimise brown leaf tips.

Soil: Repot into Oderings houseplant potting mix

Fertiliser: Use a small amount of Liquid fertiliser in spring.

Pests: aphids are most common and can be found on new growth

Poisonous for pets: Non-toxic to cats and dogs
