For all your flowering indoor plants, including Peace Lilies, Hoyas, African Violets, Anthurium, Begonias and more. An all-purpose bloom fertiliser and best buddy to GT Foliage Focus. Shift from Foliage to Flower when first signs of a new spike, bud or flower appear.
Why is Flower Focus different?
Flower Focus is made by Growth Technology, known in the industry as GT. These are the clever chaps behind world-famous Clonex. GT takes a different approach to plant nutrition, providing crop-specific and lifestage-specific nutrition giving plants everything they need and nothing they don't. The result is an all-in-one fertiliser that's gentle enough to use every time you water, even for salt-sensitive plants, variegated plants and plants prone to fertiliser-burn.
When to switch from Foliage to Flower?
If you don't know your plant's usual reproductive cycle, shift from FOLIAGE Focus to FLOWER Focus at first sight of a new spike or peduncle, or new buds on existing spurs. It's best to know your plant's cycle and shift to FLOWER before the first spike or buds appear. Continue feeding FLOWER until flowering finishes, then shift back to FOLIAGE.
During the vegetative phase (growing foliage), mineral requirements are not the same as the reproductive phase (flowering), requiring a change in minerals provided to support the growth required for repeat blooming next season. During the reproductive phase, a drop in nitrogen is one key difference to shift a plant's focus from foliage to flowering, with phosphorus, potassium, calcium levels and more different also. For calcium lovers like Orchids, there's also the crop-specific formula GT Orchid BLOOM
GT Flower Focus Directions for Use
Adjust dilution rate according to the plant's needs. For light feeders use the lower range of 3mls GT per 1 litre water. For heavy feeders or fast growers up to 10mls (2 teaspoons) per 1 litre water. For a 'mixed jungle' (a broader collection of different flowering plants), use the general maintenance range, every time you water.
To avoid irreversible deficiencies in immobile nutrients (such as calcium), it's recommended to fertilise with GT Focus every time you water.
