BioShield®: a safe, effective biocontrol of grass grub

BioShield Lawn Care is a natural grass grub biocontrol solution that works by introducing a naturally occurring soil bacteria (Serratia entomophila), that causes population decline in New Zealand grass grub larvae.

DIRECTIONS

• Apply to lawns in autumn or spring in cooler regions when the grass grub larvae are present, active and susceptible
• Dilute 10mL of BioShield® Lawn Care in 1 L of clean water
• 1 L covers 10 m² of lawn
• Apply to moist soil
• Apply in the late afternoon to recently mown lawn
• After application water the lawn for 10-15 minutes
• Don’t carry out rolling or other insecticide treatments after applying BioShield as this will reduce the effectiveness of the product
