Oak & Spore Pink Oyster Mushroom Farm

Known around the world as the ‘bacon mushrooms’ Pink oysters are a great mushroom to grow when the weather (or your home) is warm, and the mushrooms can flourish.

Simply tear the perforated area off the side of the box, cut the inner bag to expose the living mycelium, and spray with water 3-4 times per day. After a week or two you will have your very own flush of tasty mushrooms growing!

Our boxes contain substrate that’s been pre-colonised with mushroom mycelium, making the chance for a large successful crop mush higher. Having pre-colonised substrate means the mycelium has lots of food and is ready and waiting to grow mushrooms.

Pink oysters are a vibrant and tasty mushroom. It’s short shelf life means it’s nearly impossible to find in supermarkets, making this mushrooms an exclusive ingredient to add to any dish. It’s notes of bacon in the flavour make it the perfect breakfast option. Our boxed kits are expected to grow between 800g-1.4kg of mushrooms.
