Calathea Makoyana 14cm

Calathea are popular for their brilliant foliage, having a variety of colours and patterns on their large leaves. The Makoyana has interesting, rounded leaves which are pale green with a dark green feathered pattern from the middle of the leaf to the outer edges. This lush, evergreen houseplant is great for adding interest to any space. 

Habitat: Will grow to a mature size of 90cm tall. Ideal for pots indoors.

Light: Suited to low light areas, not in direct sunlight.

Water: Likes soil to be kept moist, allow top soil to dry just slightly in between watering.

Humidity: High, mist plant 3 times a week to minimise brown leaf tips.

Soil: The plant can live happily in the provided pot for up to a year. Re-pot into Oderings houseplant potting mix

Fertiliser: Fertilise regularly during the growing season with a houseplant fertiliser.

Pests: Aphids are most common and can be found on new growth

Poisonous for pets: Non-toxic to cats and dogs
