Birds Nest Fern Nidus Avis 12cm

The Birds Nest Fern is a popular fern for growing indoors. A very attractive fern with its glossy, rounded, bright green leaves that unfurl from a central rosette to create the birds nest shape.

Habitat: Can grow to a mature size of 40cm x 40cm Ideal for pots indoors.

Light: Bright indirect light

Water: Water once a week, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings and keep a little on the drier side in the winter.

Humidity: High, mist plant 2-3 times a week to minimise brown leaf tips.

Soil: Re-pot into Oderings houseplant potting mix

Fertiliser: Use a Liquid fertiliser once a month in the growing season

Pests:  Aphids are most common and can be found on new growth

Poisonous for pets: Non-toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
