Alocasia Sting Ray

Alocasia Sting Ray features impressive unique shaped leaves that resemble a stingray. A simplistic yet elegant plant that will make a feature piece in any environment. With new leaves grown from a split out of the stem of the last leaf grown.

Habitat: The Stingray is a fast-growing plant, although it will hibernate in cooler temperatures. Grows to a mature height of 1.2m

Light: Prefers bright indirect light and warmer temperatures. 

Water: Likes slightly moist soil, don't let the soil dry out, or over water. 

Soil: Loose well-draining soil is recommended.

Repot into Oderings houseplant mix as plant becomes root bound. Only increasing to a pot size 1cm larger that its current size. 

Pests:Mites are most common and can be found on the underside of the leaf

Fertiliser: Once a month during spring and summer.
