Calathea Louisae

Calathea are popular for their brilliant foliage, having a variety of colours and patterns on their large leaves. Calathea Louisae feature ornament consisting of deep green and bright yellow stripes, with a purple underside that makes the leaves even more pleasing to the eye. 

Habitat: Will grow to a mature size of 35/40cm tall. 

Light: Thrives in moderate to filtered light. Avoid direct sunlight

Water: Never allow to try out completly, but allow the top of the soil surface dry out between waterings. 

Humidity: Medium - High, mist plant 4 times a week to minimise brown leaf tips.

Soil: Re-pot into Oderings houseplant potting mix

Fertiliser: Use a Liquid fertiliser in summer

Pests: Mites are most common and can be found on the underside of the leaf
