Flat, round, medium-large fruit with purple/black skin. Flesh is pale-cream with a red stain from the skin, increasing as the fruit ripens. Firm, juicy good flavour. Self fertile in Canterbury, although ‘Santa Rosa’ will improve fruit set. Clingstone and stores well. Ripens February/March.

Plum trees grow to approx 4-5m high by 4m wide over 10 years.

Most plums require cross pollination.
