Famous Spanish selection with heavy crops of bitter oranges ideal for marmalade, liqueurs, preserves, sauces and relishes. Medium to large fruit. The dried peel is often used for seasoning. Upright and vigorous grower well suited for large containers. Fruit ripens June/July. Evergreen. Also known as the bitter orange.

Plant in deeply-worked, free-draining but moisture retaining soil. Water well when planting then regularly for two to three weeks. An annual citrus fertiliser and frequent watering will reward you with bounteous fruit.
